Fenerbahçe won a difficult away match in the third week of Turkish League. Actually they won the game at the second half but there was another fact made the match much more difficult for both teams: The violent Diyarbakırspor fans!!
Diyarbakır started so quickly to the match. They were the much more effective side at the beginning of the first half thanks to their defensive tactic: tight marking. Fenerbahçe players couldn't attack very well. So, Diyarbakır scored their first goal with Tazemeta in the 20th minute, after Bilica had made an important mistake. Then they kept their effective play until they conceded a goal in (almost) Fenerbahçe's first attack. They scored a wonderful goal in the 36th minute with Gökhan Gönül after 11 passes. The first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, we easily saw that Diyarbakırspor players' conditions started to get lower and they became physically tired. So, Fenerbahçe took the control of the game and scored their second goal in the 55th minute with Kazım after some good passes. After this goal, Diyarbakırspor fans became totally crazy and started to throw all the things that they thought they could throw to the pitch to Fenerbahçe players. (But the referee didn't stop the match!) Then in the 70th minute, Diyarbakırspor goalkeeper Espinoza pulled down Semih Şentürk in the box and Fenerbahçe won a penalty kick. Semih made it goal: 3-1.
Fenerbahçe won the match 3-1 easily thanks to their play in the second half. And the Diyarbakırspor fans... They made everything much harder for their team and affected their players' concentration. I think they should have controlled themselves. Hopefully, no one injured and got hurt but what if someone would be injured or hurt? I think they deserved to play behind closed doors for at least 5-6 matches. I wish all the fans to be calm and control themselves and not to interfere football being played on the pitch.
