General Overview: The Fourth Week of Turkish League
Galatasaray won a difficult away match against Ankaraspor. The substitutions played the key role in the game and provided Galatasaray to win the match 2-0. Galatasaray couldn't play as effectively as they did in the last matches in the first three weeks because of Ankaraspor's defencing tactics and dangerous attacks. Harry Kewell who replaced Elano in the second half, scored the first goal with header in the 73th minute: 0-1. Then in the 83th minute Shabani Nonda who replaced Milan Baros scored the second goal of the game after Aydın Yılmaz who replaced Kader Keita played a superb ball to him: 0-2.
Ankaraspor was the most difficult team that Galatasaray has played with so far. Their defence didn't let Galatasaray players score easily and attacked very well, they were almost going to score a goal. But in a way, Frank Rijkaard saved Galatasaray! He made some critical changes and affected the score directly with his tactical change. The goals were scored by substitutions and this shows us that Galatasaray always have some key players who can affect the score easily. Maybe Galatasaray won the game with the help of their luck in a way, but they deserved to win the match more than Ankaraspor.
Fenerbahçe: 2 Manisaspor: 1
First of all I can say that the first 75 minutes and the last 15 minutes (plus the extra minutes) were completely different than each other. Until the 75th minute both teams were not so effective, Manisaspor was just a little bit better than Fenerbahçe. In the 75th minute Emre Belözoğlu was shown a red card and sent off(*). In the 79th minute, Daniel Güiza scored the first goal of the match: 1-0. Just 7 minutes later, Manisaspor scored their second goal with Ergin Keleş after one of their effective attacks and caused the fans to be silent. But then in the last minute of the extra time, Semih Şentürk scored the last goal and determined the score of the match: 2-1.
To be honest, as so many people say, I don't think that Fenerbahçe deserved to win the match. Even though Manisaspor seemed more defensive, they were the more effective side in attacks. Actually I liked their brave playing style; their only attacking way was not counter-attacking, they attacked with 5-6 players every time and wanted to keep the control of the ball. But they were a little bit unlucky, the goal that they scored in the was canceled, because of a wrong decision (offside).
*And Emre Belözoğlu... He totally deserved that red card and to be suspended for at least 2-3 matches. He swore at Manisaspor's player Nizamettin and then hit to the referee Tolga Özkalfa with his chest. Disgraceful behavior... In the last seasons, he also did some similar things. His wage is more than the other players in Fenerbahçe squad and was made Fenerbahçe captain before the season. And also fans accepted him even though he was one of the former legendary Galatasaray players. But he still insists on being aggressive and bother, threat the other people. I hope he will brake himself someday and just focus on his profession...
Beşiktaş: 0 - Gaziantepspor: 0
Another 0-0 draw for Beşiktaş. Without scoring, without conceding. This fact shows us that Beşiktaş have some very important problems with scoring, with their striker's form and capacity but their defence is good, they don't let other teams score easily. Beşiktaş tried to do all the things on the field to score a goal but they couldn't. Actually they were so unlucky, they hit the post for 2 times. But I think all their attacking variations are not enough to score, they seriously have to do something to solve this problem! Maybe their new midfielder Rodrigo Tabata who was recently transferred from Gaziantepspor can contribute to Beşiktaş's attacks in the next weeks. Gaziantepspor was also not so bad in the match, they bravely attacked and defenced very well. Actually Beşiktaş was more likely to deserve to win the match, but their play was not enough to make their aim successful.
Other Results:
Eskişehirspor - Antalyaspor: 2-1
Ankaragücü - İstanbul BB: 2-2
Kayserispor - Denizlispor: 3-0
Sivasspor - Diyarbakırspor: 0-2
Trabzonspor - Bursaspor: 1-1
Kasımpaşa - Gençlerbirliği : 0-4

Results of the second-leg matches in UEFA Europa League
Fenerbahçe had won the first leg match 2-0 against F.C Sion in Switzerland. With the ease and morale of that, Fenerbahçe didn't take the importance of the second leg match so seriously as much as they did in the first match. Fenerbahçe scored their first goal in the just 2nd minute with Dos Santos: 1-0. But in the 8th minute F.C Sion player Vanczak scored the equalising goal with header: 1-1. In the 29th minute, Dabo was made a foul inside the box. Chihab scored the goal from a penalty kick: 2-1. Now, it was the time to panic for Fenerbahçe, because if Sion had scored one more goal and the match had ended 3-1 then Fenerbahçe would be eliminated. They played just 10 minutes with stress and in the 40th minute, Andre Dos Santos scored his second goal from a penalty kick: 2-2. The first half ended 2-2. The second half was not so fast-paced. Both teams couldn't find so many scoring opportunities and finally the match ended 2-2, Fenerbahçe saw F.C Sion off and advanced to the UEFA Europa League group stages.
Levadia Tallinn: 1 - Galatasaray: 1
The second leg match; Levadia - Galatasaray ended 1-1. Galatasaray's coach Frank Rijkaard made some changes in team's squad; 9 different players started in the first eleven. Galatasaray was the attacking side even though the change in the team. Unlike people expected, Levadia kept on defencing and tried to score goals with counter attacks. Galatasaray's key player Elano was the best player on the pitch. He made some particular passes and was the leader of the team. Levadia Tallinn's goal was scored by Puri in the 52nd minute. But then Galatasaray made the score 1-1 with Nonda's goal. Even though Galatasaray was the dominant team in the whole game, they couldn't win the game and returned to Turkey with a draw. Next month, they will be playing in the group stages in UEFA Europa League and Levadia will be trying to win the championship in Estonia League. Good luck for both teams...
Toulouse F.C: 0 - Trabzonspor: 1
Trabzonspor won the second leg match 1-0 in France. Usually 1-0 away win is a good score for away team. But this time Trabzonspor were unluckily eliminated because of the result of the first leg match: 1-3 (Toulouse won in Turkey). The only goal was scored by Ceyhun Gülselam in the 56th minute. In the remaining minutes, Trabzonspor couldn't score more goals and eliminate Toulouse F.C. Toulouse F.C advanced to the group stages.
Shakhtar Donetsk: 2 Sivasspor: 0
Shaktar Donetsk won the second match 2-0 that they played against Sivasspor (the first match 3-0, aggregate 5-0). Shakhtar, generally, was the dominant side in the match. The goals were scored by Jadson (21th min, penalty) and Luiz Adriano (59th min, penalty). Sivasspor's goalkeeper Akın prevented Sivasspor from losing the match with more than two-goal-difference. In short it was an easy draw for Shakhtar Donetsk but an unlucky draw for Sivasspor.

Galatasaray: 4 Kayserispor: 1
Another "4-1" for Galatasaray in Turkcell Süper Lig (Turkish League) ! Galatasaray won the match easily with their comfortable play after the 35th minute, the turning point of the match.
Kayserispor started very quickly to the match. They had some chances to score goals at the beginning of the match. But then, slowly, Galatasaray took the control and started to attack. In the 14th minute, Galatasaray scored the first goal with Milan Baros and made the score 1-0. Arda crossed the ball from the left and Baros touched the ball when the ball was in Suleymanou's, Kayserispor's goalkeeper, hands. First it was thought that the foul was made to Suleymanou but then referee accepted the goal. Then in the 31th minute Kayserispor won a corner kick and Ariza Makukula, Kayserispor's center forward, scored a goal with header: 1-1. But just 4 minutes later, the same player Makukula scored an own goal after Arda Turan crossed the ball from a corner kick and made the score 2-1. That moment was the turning point of the match. Later on, Galatasaray created a high pressure on Kayserispor with their attacks. The first half ended 2-1.
Galatasaray, again, was the controlling team at the beginning of the first half. But they couldn't score a goal until the 62th minute. Before the second half started, Kader Keita had made the bench and Elano come in. And in the 62th minute, he scored his first goal for Galatasaray. He shot the ball with 120 km/h with his left foot and scored a fantastic "welcome" goal: 3-1. Galatasaray kept on attacking until the end of the match and scored the final goal in the 88th minute again with Milan Baros: 4-1. The match ended 4-1.
Galatasaray won the game easily, even though Kayserispor were not as weak as the other teams that lost Galatasaray with at least three-goal difference. Usually Kayserispor are known as the most brutal and toughest team in Turkish League but Galatasaray won the match despite all the hard tackles Kayserispor made. And it was good for Elano to score his first goal for Galatasaray. So, Galatasaray scored 11 and conceded 4 goals in the first three weeks and made 3 out of 3 after they won this match.
Gençlerbirliği: 0 Beşiktaş: 0
Both teams; Gençlerbirliği SK and Beşiktaş JK lost won only one point in this match which no goals were scored. Beşiktaş had the possession but couldn't find scoring opportunities and attack very well. Gençlerbirliği was the more effective side in attacks even though their style was more likely to counter-attacking style. Kahe and Mustafa, Gençlerbirliği strikers, couldn't turn some scoring opportunities into goals, so did Beşikaş strikers and the match ended 0-0.
Actually the match was not so exciting. There were not so many scoring opportunities for both teams. Beşiktaş's strikers were so ineffective and the most part of the team (except some players) have condition problem. They're lack of form so they cannot play very well. I think Gençlerbirliği could've won the match if they would have played more offensively. A poor match for both teams' fans...

UEFA Europa League: Results of Turkish Teams
Well done! Galatasaray won the match with the most impressive score of the night among the Turkish teams playing in UEFA Europa League. Galatasaray's five goals were scored by; Kader Keita (21th and 45th minutes), Milan Baros (56th minute, penalty kick), Harry Kewell (79th min.) and Leitan* (*own goal). Galatasaray was the dominant team in the whole match and they kept on pressuring and creating scoring opportunities, without stopping. Their talented and effective players were the most important fact that made GS won the game. Keita's perfect play was also very impressive, he pressured Levadia Tallinn defenders in the whole match. In short, I think that Galatasaray took a very important advantage to play in group stage. They'll probably eliminate Levadia Tallinn after the second match in Estonia with their effective squad full of dangerous players who can score goals easily.

Fenerbahçe won an away match 2-0 in Switzerland against F.C Sion. Actually the game was not outstanding. Fenerbahçe deservedly won the match with Andre Santos' (45th min.) and Kazım's (85th min.) goals. F.C Sion was so ineffective and they couldn't create so many scoring opportunities. Fenerbahçe turned two of the scoring opportunities into goals and took a great advantage. I think the second leg match will be much easier for Fenerbahçe in Istanbul. A great advantage to advance the group stages.
Sivasspor: 0 Shakhtar Donetsk: 3
Sivasspor lost the first leg match of UEFA Europa League play-off round against FC Shakhtar Donetsk in Sivas. The result was 3-0 which is a very disappointing result for Sivasspor. Shakhtar Donetsk won an away match with 3 goals scored by Oleksiy Gai (6th min.), Ilsinho (76th min.) and Kobin (87th min.). Sivasspor became demoralized at the beginning of the match after they concede a goal in the 6th minute. But they still tried to score goals and get the advantage. But they wasted all the opportunities and lost the possesion. As the final whistle approached, Shakhtar took the control and scored two more goals. The result of this match basicly shows that Sivasspor lost their chance to play in group stage. What an unlucky draw for Sivasspor.
Trabzonspor: 1 Toulouse: 3
(http://fotogaleri.ntvmsnbc.com/Assets/PhotoGallery/Pictures/Medium/0000025935.jpg)
A disappointing result for Turkish people... Before the match had started, Trabzonspor side were always saying that they had to win the match with two-goal difference. But the result of the match was not the thing that they expected: they lost the game with two-goal difference. Gignac, the top scorer of last season in Ligue 1, scored two goals (12th and 58th minutes) and Mansare scored the final goal (90th minute) for Toulouse. Rigobert Song's only goal (16th min.) for Trabzonspor was not enough. Trabzonspor was the attacking side in the first half, but in the second half they couldn't manage the attacks even though they didn't lose the possession. Afterwards, I think that Trabzonspor don't have the chance to eliminate the strong Toulouse F.C in France by scoring at least 3 goals. Unfortunately they'll have to look at the league and cup matches.

Beşiktaş: 2 Antalyaspor: 0
Beşiktaş won the second week match played behind closed doors 2-0 against Antalyaspor. Beşiktaş was the more attacking side and they won the game thanks to the goals scored in the 73th and 78th minutes.
Beşiktaş was the dominant team in the first half. They wasted so many scoring opportunities. They couldn't score a goal because of Antalyaspor's goalkeeper Ömer Çatkıç, even though they attacked well. Antalyaspor tried to score goals with counter attacks but they just had several scoring opportunities, they wasted all of them.
Beşiktaş couldn't start very well to the second half. At the beginning of the second half, they couldn't play effectively. But then Mert Nobre replaced with Filip Holosko and Michael Fink replaced with Uğur İnceman. That was the turning point of the match. Just 8 minutes later, Filip Holosko scored the first goal for Beşiktaş. Nihat Kahveci passed the ball inside the box, from left and Holosko scored: 1-0. Five minutes later, Rodrigo Tello scored the second goal of the game from a free kick with his left foot and made the score 2-0. Beşiktaş kept attacking until the end of the game and won the match.
Beşiktaş didn't seem very effective, I mean they seemed not to be better than they were in the last season, until they scored the first goal. Rodrigo Tello was the key player who contributed the most to Beşiktaş to win the match; created the first goal and scored the second by himself. Antalyaspor couldn't play as well as Beşiktaş did. Their defence had been good until they conceded the first goal. But they were not good enough in attacks. They couldn't score a goal in the first two matches they played but conceded just three (the same with the Galatasaray, the team in the second place). In short, Beşiktaş won their second match, after a draw against İBB and made their points 4.

Fenerbahçe: 3 Sivasspor:0
Fenerbahçe won the first match that they played in their stadium Şükrü Saraçoğlu 3-0 against Sivasspor. They won the second match they played as well; scored 5 goals in two games and didn't concede a goal.
The beginning of the match was not so fast-paced. Fenerbahçe was the attacking and effective side but they couldn't score a goal. Sivasspor also tried to score a goal with counter-attacks but they couldn't do what they aimed too.
Fenerbahçe was again the more attacking and controlling side. They kept on attacking in the second half too and finally scored the first goal of the game in the 70th minute. Emre crossed the ball and Kazım shot and made the score 1-0. Then in the 81th minute, Emre scored a goal from corner kick thanks to Sivasspor's goalkeeper Michael Petkoviç's big mistake. And finally in the extra time, Dos Santos took the ball in the middle of the pitch, skipped three Sivasspor players and scored a fantastic goal with his left foot. The final result of the match was 3-0.
Fenerbahçe won the match in the last 20 minutes. Sivasspor seemed too weak compared to the last season. They lost the first two games in this season and didn't seeme to be effective in these matches. They need their injured players to recover again or maybe transfer some players. Otherwise they'll be in trouble, won't score so many goals but concede very easily. Fenerbahçe's playing style is also enough to win the games without having troubles. They seem comfortable after winning the first two games of 2009-2010 season. We'll see how these two teams' playing styles will change in the next weeks.

Galatasaray:4 - Denizlispor:1
Galatasaray won their second match 4-1 in Turkish League against Denizlispor. There's something interesting: The first match of the last season (2008-2009) was played between Galatasaray and Denizlispor in Ali Sami Yen stadium and Galatasaray won the match 4-1 as they did in their second match in this season.
After the match beginned, Galatasaray took the control and the possession, Denizlispor was the more defensive side. Galatasaray wasted some scoring opportunities and in the 39th minute, Bangoura crossed the ball from the right wing and Emil Angelov, Denizlispor's Bulgarian striker, scored a goal with header. But six minutes later, in the 45th minute Galatasaray won a penalty kick and Harry Kewell scored the first goal for Galatasaray and made the score 1-1. The first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, Galatasaray kept on attacking and pressuring and finally scored a goal with Arda Turan's header in the 59th minute. Then they relaxed and in the 67th minute they scored one more goal from again a penalty kick with Harry Kewell. And finally in the 74th minute Kader Keita dribbled with the ball into the box and tried to pass the ball to Milan Baros, but Burak Akyıldız (Denizlispor's center-back) scored an own goal and made the score 4-1. In the remaining minutes Galatasaray's goal attempts failed and match ended 4-1.
Galatasaray won the match with their effective play, even though they played with substitutes, not with the ideal players, (I mean the first eleven). They kept controlling the game until it finished. Kader Keita seemed to be one of the most effective players on the field and attacked very well from the right wing. Poor Denizlispor couldn't stand against Galatasaray's attacks and be effective in attacks. They lost two games in a row against first Fenerbahçe and then Galatasaray. What a difficult fixture for the first two weeks!

General Overview: The First Week of Turkish League
The new season beginned with İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor-Beşiktaş match. The last champions, Beşiktaş, couldn't win the match and the match ended as a draw: 1-1. Michael Fink, Beşiktaş's midfielder scored a goal in the 29th minute with a long-distance shot. But just after 2 minutes, İbrahim Akın who was a former Beşiktaş player scored a goal for İBB. He skipped past 3 players and shot the ball with his left foot. In the rest of the match, Beşiktaş played with the ball and attacked more than İBB but couldn't score one more goal and win the game.
One of the other important matches was played between Gaziantepspor and Galatasaray SK. Galatasaray SK won the match 3-2 with captain Arda Turan, Mustafa Sarp and Shabani Nonda's goals. Gaziantepspor's goals were scored by Julio Cesar and Rodrigo Tabat (penalty kick). Galatasaray won a very difficult match against a strong team, the temperature was too hot and it was too hard to play with those conditions.
In the last match of the week, Fenerbahçe played against Denizlispor in Denizli and won the match 2-0 thanks to Daniel Guiza's strikes in 1st and 87th minutes. The match was stopped about 40 minutes because of the electricity problem in the stadium. It beginned on Sunday but ended on Monday :) ! Fenerbahçe was more effective in attacks and that was how they won the match.
The results of the other matches:
Antalyaspor:0 Ankaraspor:1
Diyarbakırspor:2 Ankaragücü:2
Sivasspor:1 Trabzonspor:2
Gençlerbirliği:0 Kayserispor:0
Bursaspor:2 Kasımpaşa:1
Manisaspor:0 Eskişehirspor:0

Honved: 1 Fenerbahçe:1
Fenerbahçe started to the match so quickly and effectively. Fenerbahçe's left winger, Dos Santos, scored a goal in the 7th minute and with this goal Fenerbahçe made the score 1-0. Until the 30th minute they kept their effective play but in the 30th minute, Fenerbahçe's central defender Bilica was shown red card and sent off. In the rest of the first half, Fenerbahçe kept on attacking, even though they played one missing player.
In the second half, Honved F.C started to attack and pressured on Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe was the more defensive side. In the 86th minute, Fritz from Honved F.C scored a goal (with his hand!!) and made the score 1-1. The match ended 1-1 and Fenerbahçe eliminated Honved.
The match, generally, was not so fast-paced. Fenerbahçe played effectively until the 30th minute but they couldn't win the game with 10 players after the 30th minute. They expected to win the match but they didn't need because they had (logically) already eliminated Honved F.C in the first-leg match with 5-1. In short, a slow-paced match ended as 1-1 and it was a normal result that people could easily accept.

Sivasspor: 3 Anderlecht:1
Yesterday night, even though Sivasspor couldn't eliminate R.S.C Anderlecht, they played very well and won the match 3-1. They seemed very effective and won the match against a strong team by scoring 3 goals and thanks to their play.
Sivasspor started very quickly! In the 12th minute their striker Ersen Martin shot the ball inside the box and scored the first goal for his team. Then, in the 18th minute Sivasspor's other striker Kamanan was made a foul inside the box and won a penalty kick. He used the penalty kick and turned it into a goal. In the following minutes Sivasspor increased the tempo and continued to pressure on Anderlecht. But then in the 34th minute Van Damme scored for Anderlecht and made his team relax. The score of the first half was 2-1. Sivasspor continued their effective play in the second half too and scored the 3rd goal in the 58th with Musa Aydın's header. In the remaining minutes they missed some opportunities and couldn't score more goals. The match ended 3-1.
Sivasspor was much better than the first match. In the first match, we couldn't see any tactical variations and defence organization. And also the players had adaptation problem and couldn't play each other in harmony. But yesterday night, the players were much more used to each other and didn't have such a problem. In short, Sivasspor won a match against a very strong and experienced team with their superb play in their only 6th European competition, even though it was a prestige match. Afterwards, they are going to continue their adventures in Europe in UEFA Europa Cup. Good luck for both teams; Sivasspor and Anderlecht...

Super Cup Final Match: Fenerbahçe:2 Beşiktaş:0
Before the match started, I had guessed that Fenerbahçe would win the match 3-1 or maybe 2-1. And I also had claimed that Fenerbahçe would be the attacking side and Beşiktaş would play more defensively. Actually Fenerbahçe won the match as I guessed. But the match was much more different than I guessed.
Unlike my prediction, Fenerbahçe was the more defensive side and Beşiktaş was the attacking and controlling side. Beşiktaş took the control of the game in the early minutes and kept it almost until the end of the game. Fenerbahçe tried to find some opportunities to score goals with long-distance shoots and some crosses. And Beşiktaş tried to score goals by passing accurately and playing in front of Fenerbahçe's goal. The first half ended like this. The second half continued like this for a while again. But everything changed in 75th minute. Fenerbahçe won a free kick and Alex De Souza was the one who was going to shot the ball. He shot the ball but Tomas Sivok, Beşiktaş's center-back player who was one of the best players in the match blocked the ball with his hand inside the box. Yes, it was a penalty. Captain Alex De Souza shot the ball and it was a goal. Last 15 minutes Beşiktaş kept the pressure on Fenerbahçe's side. When extra time was being played, Fenerbahçe scored their second goal. Daniel Guiza dribbled with the ball on the right wing and crossed the ball, then Alex scored the goal with a header. Match ended 2-0...
Chance was the most important factor that helped Fenerbahçe to win the match. Then their defence, their center-back players' succesful play and their team defence helped them not to concede a goal. And..their captain: Alex De Souza! Even though he was not effective until the 75th minute, he scored two goals for his team. He always has the quality of changing the score. Beşiktaş was also not so bad. Their team defence was very good and they defended Fenerbahçe players very well by tight-marking. But unfortunate Sivok's mistake made the team lose the match. Beşiktaş will have to find some more opportunities to score goals in the future. They have to attack more effectively and be more creative.
In short, the game was not so fast-paced and a little bit boring. But both teams challenged very well. But the defensive side Fenerbahçe was the luckier team, scored two goals with dead balls and counter attacks. So, they started to the new season with a great trophy. Congratulations...
Before the Super Cup Final Match... (Match Preview)
Analysis:
Fenerbahçe: Before the season had started, Fenerbahçe added some important and key players such as Brazilian players; Andre Dos Santos, Cristian and Fabio Alves Da Silva Bilica and Turkish players; Mehmet Topuz, Özer Hurmacı and Bekir Irtegun. Now they have better players than last year both in the field and on the bench. As we could see in FB-Honved match, Fenerbahçe seem almost completely ready for the new season and players don't have adaptation problem. Actually most of the foreign players in the squad are Brazilian players except the Spanish striker Daniel Guiza. Team's passing is very good and they have many options; different players who can easily score, effective wingers and different tactical variations to score goals just like we saw in FB-Honved Match.
Beşiktaş: Beşiktaş empowered their squad with Matteo Ferrari, Michael Fink, Nihat Kahveci, Ismail Köybaşı and Erhan Güven. But lost two center-back players; Gökhan Zan (signed for Galatasaray) and Tomas Zapotocny (was loaned to Bursaspor) and their right back Serdar Kurtuluş (was transferred to Gaziantepspor). They seem to have some problems with defence. But actually in last two matches against Lyon and Porto in Peace Cup, their defence played really well. They just conceded one goal against strong teams (The results were 1-1 and 0-0). Their captain Mathias Delgado was injured and probably it will affect their attack. But they still have good attacking midfielders and strikers: Yusuf Şimşek, Bobo, Mert Nobre, Filip Holosko and Nihat Kahveci. And also their central midfielders are two hard-working German players: Fabian Ernst and Michael Fink. They help the whole team to play comfortable by helping both to defence and to attack. Their players are used to playing with each other and they don't have a problem with team chemistry.
Prediction:
Fenerbahçe:3 Beşiktaş:1
Even though Beşiktaş's defence is strong and compact, Fenerbahçe seems more advantageous. They have very effective attacking players such as team's leader Alex De Souza, Daniel Guiza, Dos Santos, Colin Kazım Richards and their left and right backs (especially right-back Gökhan Gönül) contribute to the attacks very well. Beşiktaş cannot score goals as easily as Fenerbahçe do. So, I think that Fenerbahçe can win the match 3-1 or maybe 2-1 just like they did 2 seasons ago against (again) Beşiktaş (at the beginning of 2007-2008 season, match ended 2-1).

New Purple Kit For Galatasaray!
I don't know if you like these or not. Actually I cannot say that these shirts are good or bad. But there's one thing that will make people discuss about it. The new purple kit!!
The main colours of Galatasaray are yellow and red. But the colours of the kit always change before the season starts. There are some different colours for kits; usually red-yellow, sometimes black, (they tried gray for once), white, orange etc. But this is the first time that they chose "purple" for the new season.
But I still cannot understand something as well. Why did they choose purple? What's the relevance of it? Yellow and red are the main colors. What's the relevance of yellow and red with purple? Maybe they could've chosen some similar colors to red or yellow: just like orange. Or maybe the jerseys could've been stripped or spotted with red and yellow.
I think that most of the fans will show interest in purple jerseys written "Elano 9" on the back. It can be something good for the fans. But purple is also not relevant with yellow and red. What do you think about this? Do you really think that purple is a proper and attractive color for the new jerseys or not? I'll be waiting for your comments...
